About Us

The Vet Centre Richmond is a mixed animal practice, in that we cater for all animals; large, small, feathered, furred and even the unusual! To be able to do this successfully we have a number of vets each of whom has a special interest in a certain species of animal, or specific area of veterinary medicine and surgery.

For example Hannahbess and Kelly work predominantly with small animals, with Kelly also having a special interest in horses and having recently undertaken study of equine acupuncture, and Hannahbess really enjoys getting out on farm with the cows. John works almost exclusively with large (farm) animals, with Dairy Cattle and Alpacas being of particular interest. Andrew has his own deer farm and is very involved in the deer industry, and also has a passion for orthopaedic surgery and dental restorations in dogs and cats.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our veterinary nursing staff.  As part of our Best Practice Accreditation all our nursing staff must be fully trained, however they are much more than that - approachable, dedicated, and continually striving for excellence.  Their attitude and attention to detail ensures that your pets are in the best of hands.
